Whether you’re bendy like a pretzel or stiff as a board, Margate has yoga classes to help you stretch out, tone up or work out. From cosy basement studios for a few people to a gorgeous heated pod, yoga lovers can encorporate every type of practice into their holiday or lives here in town. Now let’s downward dog into these classes.
Hotpod Yoga
At Hotpod Yoga, they believe that yoga has an unrivaled power to make people feel great and therefore do all they can to make your experience the best.
They offer indoor yoga classes in a big heated (to 37°C) pod with sounds, scents and low lighting to reach maximum relaxation and flexibility of your muscles. Hotpod Yoga is available for everyone 16+, all shapes, sizes and yoga experience level.
It is £14 for a single class pass but there is also an introductory offer of a 10 day unlimited pass for £18.

2. Margate Yoga Studio
Margate Yoga Studio offers lots of different indoor classes such as Slow Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi. They also have longer two hour and half day workshops, which include Moving Meditation, 108 Sun Salutations and Refresh, Renew and Restore. They welcome everyone from beginners to the more experienced.
Prices can start from £10 for classes at the studio and £8 to attend online classes.

3. Soft Boi Yoga
These queer-led soft yoga classes are different to others as their main focus is about spending time slowing down and cultivating a relationship with your own body, breath and self. Welcoming queer people and allies, you don't have to have any previous yoga experience to attend the classes.
Find Soft Boi Yoga at Margate Arts Club and Margate Yoga Studio and pay £7 a class or pay what you can.

4. Cleopatra Yoga
Cleopatra Yoga is a women's only, nourishing yoga for wellbeing, women's health, periods, fertility, pregnancy and menopause. They offer 1:1 sessions, workshops and online sessions where they use lots of techniques to help you destress and relax. Their classes are indoor at Newgate Gap and they also have outdoor events held at Windmill Community Gardens.

5. Heart · Soul · Aura
Heart - Soul - Aura offers 1:1 and very small group classes at Earth Studio in Cliftonville. Her goal is to support the journey toward inner peace and freedom through movement and embodiment.
She offers yoga, meditation and sound healing in the tiny basement studio that’s like a cosy haven. If you’re looking for intimate, small classes and a mix of yoga, sound baths, reiki and meditation this is it. Some of their upcoming classes include a Full Moon Sound Circle and a new Yin, Yoga Nidra + Sound Immersion starting in April.

Cosy vibes at Earth Soul Aura
6. The Still Body
The Still Body isn't like any other yoga. Here they offer classes for Tao Yoga (also known as Yin Yoga). Tao Yoga is a gentle slow paced type of yoga that involves holding poses for a long time. Doing this stretches and strengthens your muscles. It is very good for people who play sports or work out often as well as people with jobs that can be strenuous or with continuous movement such as builders or office workers.
A single class pass costs £10, 5 class passes cost £46 and 10 class passes is £90.
