Don’t Miss: World Cup FanPark Comes To Margate
Here’s what you need to know about the 4thefans’ Fanpark coming to town
The Drill Shed will play home to Margate’s first FanPark to watch England in the World Cup this June
The Drill Shed is set to become Margate's home of the World Cup this summer, with four England dates already confirmed and the possibility of more if the Three Lions get through the group stage.
4theFans, the UK's biggest FanPark operator, with over 400,000 fans hosted in the last five years, have chosen Margate and The Drill Shed as one of their fan bases for 2026, alongside at O2 venues venues in London, Birmingham and Newcastle. Margate is one of only a handful of locations outside a major city on their roster.
There’s a proper atmosphere, big screens, a fully stocked bar and live DJs to set the tone for the whole tournament, plus VIP tables to bring your mates down.

the world cup kicks off in june
And England fans, the stakes this summer couldn't feel higher.
Cast your mind back to Qatar 2022: the Three Lions were one missed penalty away from a World Cup semi-final. A whole country’s dreams were dashed. Can we do it again, and go further?
This time, with a new setup, a new tournament format and a whopping 48 nations competing in games across the USA, Canada and Mexico, the draw feels kinder, the squad hungrier, and hope, as ever with England, is stubbornly alive. Can we bring it home? Who knows!
world cup group games for england
Here's the 4TheFans’ FanPark schedule across June and into July:
England v Croatia / Wed 17 June, doors 7pm, KO 9pm.
The opener. Croatia did us over in Moscow in 2018 and they'll be up for it again, but this England side is a different animal.
England v Ghana / Tue 23 June, doors 7pm, KO 9pm.
Ghana have produced some of the World Cup's most memorable moments, their penalty shootout win over the USA in 2010 before heartbreakingly going out to Uruguay, and they won't roll over. England need to keep the momentum going and Margate needs to be loud.
England v Panama / Sat 27 June, doors 8pm, KO 10pm.
The final group game. England hammered Panama 6-1 in Russia 2018 with a Kane hat-trick, but nothing is ever straightforward in a World Cup. A late Saturday night one to make a proper evening of it.
Last 32 — England v TBD / Wed 1 July, doors 3pm, KO TBC.
4theFans are already selling tickets for the Last 32 knockout stage and crucially, they're offering a full money-back guarantee if England don't make it out of the group. So there's genuinely no risk in booking now. If it all goes to plan and England are still in it by 1st July, The Drill Shed is where you'll want to be.
