Don’t Miss Beaujolais Nouveau Day In Margate
thursday 21 November is the day we celebrate beaujolais nouveau wines and it’s a celebration margate goes all in for
Beaujolais Nouveau Day, falling on the third Thursday of November, is the annual celebration of a young, fruity red wine made from Gamay grapes in France's Beaujolais region.
Are you ready for what is basically a wine lovers Christmas and this year, almost every bar that pours wine in Margate is getting involved. Scroll down for our favourite picks.
The light red wine is rushed to market just weeks after harvest, skirting aging and complex flavours in favour of a fresh, fun drink that’s not meant to be taken too seriously.
It’s basically the wine world’s own cheeky excuse for a party — think of slightly rebellious French wine lovers popping bottles at midnight and raising a glass to the season’s first pour.
It’s festive, it’s light, and it’s more about the experience than refinement. It’s time to get stuck in!
