Head underground and visit the Margate Caves
Originally dug as a chalk mine in the 18th century, Margate Caves was forgotten about for 100 years before being rediscovered and restored for personal recreation and later turned into a tourist attraction. Head down there and see the pretty incredible Victorian version of prehistoric art.
There is also a cafe where you can get teas, coffees as well as cold drinks and snacks if you fancy a bite to eat. They also sell cute nature related mementos and gifts in their shop.
